Project Description

Keybridge House (circa 1977), was a 14-storey office tower block previously owned by British Telecom. With impending development plans the property was no longer suited to traditional lettings, 90% vacant, SPACE-2 were engaged by the client to mitigate running costs and generate third party income from the building on a short to mid-term meanwhile use basis.

With availability estimated at approximately 18 months, SPACE-2 were able to recommission areas of the building, reinstating space and commissioning services whilst ensuring only minimal cost as was expended.  Utilising contacts within the Film & TV sector, SPACE-2 put it forward as a film location for production facilities for TV drama and feature film productions including the set up of Unit Bases, parking for 270 Cars, production offices, set build space, green rooms, canteens, storage and a range of location options. Managed by on-site SPACE-2 Coordinators the facility continued to provide central London space, offices for a US feature film and BBC & commercial TV drama productions.
